As an internationally active manufacturer of valves and fittings, we have been supporting our customers and partners with products and solutions for over 50 years. Around 150 dedicated employees develop, produce and sell solenoid and pressure-controlled standard and special valves at our location in Vlotho-Exter.
In 1971, the company Gesellschaft für Steuer- und Regeltechnik was born in Bad Oeynhausen. Wilfried Niemann founded the company and occupied a niche right from the start: The rapid development of special customer solutions in all areas of valve technology. And the business idea worked – a small company has become a specialist for sophisticated valves on a consistent growth path.
Today, as GSR Ventiltechnik, we can look back on more than 50 years of success. With about 150 employees at the Vlotho-Exter site, we develop, produce and sell solenoid and compressed air controlled valves, made in Germany. Our product range includes more than 1,000 valve options, which are used in a wide variety of applications such as hydrogen plants, shipbuilding, water treatment, space technology or the food industry.
Our valves are available in different materials and various seals, which are selected according to customer requirements. That GSR Team supports you in the selection of the right valve and will be happy to advise you. If we do not find what you are looking for in our extensive standard range, we will develop your individual valve together – according to your specifications.

GSR Ventiltechnik is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and has numerous approvals for the most diverse requirements on valves and coils such as Atex, DVGW, Germanischer Lloyd, GOST and UL.
Since 1999, GSR has been a subsidiary of Indus Holding AG in Bergisch Gladbach and is, therefore, a key element of a strong partnership. Together, we have the economic advantages and synergies of a large corporation, while at the same time preserving our great strength – our medium–sized identity.
